Here's a simple and quick way to perk up some clay pots.
We used about 1/4 cup of Annie Sloan Old White, then mixed it with a couple tablespoons of baby powder to give the paint some texture. While the paint is drying, look through the Graphics Fairy website to find a great graphic you could transfer onto it. Here's the process:

1. Trim a piece of wax paper to 8 1/2 x 11 inches
2. The paper should be fed into your printer so that the "dull" side of the paper gets the ink.
3. Size your graphic on a word document to fit your pot and PRINT!
then . . .
4. Be ready to hightail it from the printer to your painted clay pot because you want to use a credit card or tongue depressor to press the graphic right onto the pot while the ink is still wet.

I've seen a lot of different ways to transfer graphics. I've tried Citra-Solv, and transfer paper - but using wax paper was really much quicker. I think a monogram would look nice in the center of this one too!
